The Evaporating of the Mediterranean Sea

After the formation of the Mediterranean Sea something estrange happened. All the water of this marvellous sea disappeared because of a warm period ( The Straits of the Gibraltar were closed becouse of the movements of the Earth´s crust, thus preventing the Atlantic Ocean replenishing the evaporating water ). The proof of this was found in Sicily, in a large salt mine under the ground. At a depth of two hundred metres there is a curious chapel carved in the salt mine.
